Rebecca L. Roby has spent her career protecting some of the most recognizable consumer brands in the world. As in-house counsel, she has led trademark strategy, brand enforcement, advertising compliance and litigation management for companies whose names travel across borders.

Most recently she served as Director and Senior Counsel at Ulta Beauty, where she oversaw trademark strategy, advertising compliance and supply chain contracts, and advised on emerging issues such as artificial intelligence. Before that, she held senior counsel roles at Red Bull and Hard Rock International, guiding brand protection programs, portfolio management and enforcement strategy.

In March 2026, Rebecca joined Warshawsky Law Group, a business-focused firm that supports companies growing through franchising. There she advises clients on trademark registration and enforcement in the U.S. and abroad, portfolio management, brand protection for growing franchise systems, marketing and advertising risk, and the commercial transactions and licensing matters that shape long-term brand value.

Rebecca has been recognized in the WTR 300 and speaks at legal conferences on trademark enforcement, advertising law and AI policy. She earned her JD from Washington University School of Law and her BA from Mount Holyoke College.
